The museum collection is composed of approximately 700 musical instruments from around the globe. Antique, handmade and manufactured instruments from throughout the twentieth century are well represented in the collection.

The museum also serves the needs and interests of donors, who can be assured that their accessioned gifts will have a long-term home in a secure environment, where objects are treated with respect and displayed in a way that emphasizes the arts education component of our mission.

We work hard to make certain the donation experience is a positive one. Most completed donations begin with an e-mail or telephone inquiry about the museum’s interest in receiving a proposed gift.
