Login Issues
When you are at the login screen, there is a button that says "I
forgot my password." If you click this button, you will be
taken to a page that asks you for your e-mail address. Enter the
e-mail address you used when you signed up with us, and in a few
minutes, your password will be e-mailed to you at that address.
Make sure that you can check that account! If you have changed
addresses, or cannot get to that account from your current location,
then you will not be able to obtain your password this way. In
this event, you will need to send e-mail to WebAdmin@pas.org for
assistance.
Your User ID is the name that you chose to use for your login
when you signed up online - either as a new member, a renewing
member, or an existing member to setup your online account. If
you have not done this yet, then you do not have a User ID. Please
visit the Membership area to setup your online account.
If this happens to you, then you do not have cookies turned on
in your browser. Please consult your browsers' help file for information
on how to set your browser to accept cookies, and then register
again, or you may call our office and Join the PAS via telephone.
(Please note: If you join the PAS via telephone, and you would
like to access the Members Only section of this site, you will
still be required to go through the online account setup. You still
need cookies enabled to be able to do this. Please refer to your
browsers' documentation for information about allowing cookies.)
If you have questions about the cookies, please see our Privacy
Policy.
In order to turn cookies
on, it is sometimes necessary to restart your browser after you
make the change. If you did this, and still
have a problem, please speak to the System Administrator at your
location. Some networks do not allow cookies to pass through,
in which case you will not be able to register online at that location.
If you are using an online service such as AOL, in
addition to changing your browser settings you may have to make
other changes to the application that allows you to access the
Internet. Please consult your online service software for more
information.
If you are using third-party firewall applications such as ZoneAlarm,
Norton Personal Firewall or the Windows Firewall, you will need
to consult the Help files for those applications to find out how
to allow cookies.
Some educational institutions have network settings that do not
allow cookies to be accepted, or odd port numbers to be used. Both
of these are required to access the Members Area. You will have
to talk with the System Administrator at your educational institution
to ask them what to do in order to be able to access this area.
If they have questions about this, please ask them to send e-mail
to WebAdmin@pas.org.
