The Percussive Arts Society (PAS) is pleased to announce the college and high school winners of the 2005 PAS International Percussion Ensemble Competition. The college division winners are from Ohio, Texas and Sweden. Winners in the high school division are from Florida and Texas.
The five winning ensembles will perform in showcase concerts at the 2005 Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC), Nov. 2-5, in Columbus, Ohio.
PAS hosts the competition each year in order to encourage, promote and reward musical excellence in percussion ensemble performance.
