The Tennessee Tech University (TTU) Percussion Ensemble, directed by Dr. Eric Willie, plays a significant role in the percussion curriculum at TTU. Comprised of an all-undergraduate membership, the ensemble performs an average of four concerts annually, in addition to monthly campus presentations with the TTU Percussion Club. The ensemble has performed with such great percussionists as Bob Becker, Josh Jennings, Kris Keeton, Brian Mason, Dan Moore, and the Nief-Norf Project. As well, they have commissioned and/or premiered works by Paul Lansky, Christopher Deane, Blake Tyson, Christopher Adler, John Psathas, D.J. Sparr, and Leroy Osmon. The ensemble’s performance at PASIC 2012 marks their first appearance at the convention.
