GENERAL COMMENTS:

Attained Bachelor of Music Education degree at Missouri State University in 2004.  Have been a Drumline clinician since 1999 for schools such as  Branson, Camdenton, Rolla, Eureka, New Bloomfield, Lebanon.  Was a member of the MSU Pride Marching Band for four years, and the drumline instructor for two years.  Charter member of the Pride of SMSU Winter Drumline in the 2000 and 2001 seasons.  An active member of PAS and MENC, and a private percussion instructor and clinician.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Tracy Thomas is currently working on his D.M.A. in percussion performance from the University of Kansas.  He received his B.S. in music education with a performance emphasis from Missouri Western State College in 2003, and his Masters in percussion performance from KU in 2005. He was a founding member of the Sticks of Thunder percussion theater show based out of Kansas City.  He was recently a featured soloist at the 13th International Percussion Festival in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  He is an active performer, teacher, clinician, and adjudicator throughout the Midwest.  He has several marimba compositions published through PercMaster Publications.
