Download Issues
Please be sure that you have the latest version of Acrobat Reader
- at least 4.x - available as a free download from Adobe.
We have some members who have difficulty with some of the issues
when trying to open them in the latest Acrobat browser plugin.
This is something that Adobe™ is working to correct. At this
time, to work around this issue, you can use the following method
to view files:
If you are positive that you have the latest
version of Acrobat,
then right-click (Mac users - click and hold) on the link to the
pdf you want to download, and choose Save Link As (IE Users - Save
Target As) and it will download the file to your hard drive instead
of trying to open it in your Acrobat plugin. Once you have saved
the file, double click on it and it should open properly in your
Reader.
To find this information, you will need to save a copy of the
file to your hard drive. (You can do this within the browser plugin
by clicking on the diskette icon in the plugin toolbar.) Once you
have saved the file, open it in Adobe™ Acrobat Reader, Choose
File, Document Info, General and the original Volume, Issue and
Date will be in the Title line.
