Marching Percussion Festival

Recognized as one of the premier marching percussion festivals in the country, the Percussive Arts Society’s annual Marching Percussion Festival is an excellent opportunity to be critiqued by some of the leading percussion specialists in the field of marching percussion today.

Individual Competition: 

High school and college individuals compete for national honors on snare, multi-tenors, keyboard, timpani, and multiple percussion. Application available soon!

Small Ensemble Competition

A competitive festival for Snare Drum, Multi-Tenors, Bass Drum, and Cymbal Ensembles. Application available soon!

Interactive Clinic

A "Non-Competitive Format" for your marching percussion ensembles to perform and receive feedback. Application available soon!

Marching Drumlines

A true indoor marching competition for your high school or college ensemble. Application available soon!

Standstill Competition

Test your musical abilities as an ensemble in a (4–7 minute) minute competition. Application available soon!

2015 DrumLine Battle

Prepare a 1.5-2.0 minute marching percussion drum solo (battery only). Add some visuals and stick tricks and you're good to go! See how your group rates in a head-to-head drumline battle in a bracketed tournament format. Application available soon!

2015 Marching Percussion Composition Contest

Established to promote and recognize the highest level of marching percussion composition. Rotating categories to include Drumline, Battery and Front Ensemble. Application available soon!
