Starting in 2024, the Percussive Arts Society will present/co-present five in-person percussion ensemble competitions and festivals around the United States for high school and middle school students.

Registration opens December 11, 2023, at 12:00 PM EST* for the 2024 events, and we anticipate slots will fill up very quickly.
- North Texas Percussion Festival hosted by Forney ISD presented by PAS, at Forney High School in Forney, TX, February 23-24
- University of Tennessee Percussion Festival, March 2
- PAS Percussion Ensemble Competition and Festival at the University of Missouri, March 9
- Southeastern Percussion Ensemble Symposium* at Walton High School in Marietta, GA, April 12-13
- *Registration opens at 8 AM EST for this Symposium only
- PAS Percussion Ensemble Competition and Festival at Portland State University, April 20
Space at each event will be limited, so directors should plan to
reserve their spot as soon as registration opens.
Ways to Participate
Competitive Divisions:
- High School
- Middle / Junior High School
Non-Competitive Divisions:
- High School
- Middle / Junior High School
- Independent Group (performers must be middle school to high school age)
Registration
Registration will be for a 30-minute time slot, which will include set-up, performance, clinic, and tear-down. Prior to February 1, 2024, groups may only register one group per school or organization. After February 1, 2024, registration will open for multiple groups from the same school or organization.
Texas:
Offering Competitive and Non-Competitive Divisions
- $250 for PAS Group Members for a 30-minute time slot
- $300 for Non-Group Members for a 30-minute time slot
Tennessee, Missouri & Portland:
Offering Competitive and Non-Competitive Divisions
- $250 for PAS Group Members for a 30-minute time slot
- $400 for Non-Group Members for a 30-minute time slot
Georgia:
Offering Non-Competitive Divisions only
- $300 for a 30-minute time slot
