This mallet harkens back to the origins of the jazz vibraphone mallet. With its short rattan shaft (12 3/8 inches), the "Classic Vibe" mallet allows for a palm dampening, two-mallet technique with a classic vibraphone sound. The large synthetic core wrapped in a blended black yarn activates the bar, helping to achieve that classic sound with very little effort.
