Scholarships
The Percussive Arts Society is proud to award over $30,000 annually in scholarships and grants to students in the United States and around the world. Recipients are given unique opportunities to advance their percussion careers; whether through financial assistance in collegiate study, or a once-in-a-lifetime experience by attending the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). Through a partnership with Zildjian Company, PAS also provides funding for percussion-based presentations directed for underserved youth, ages pre-school through high school.

Students have the opportunity to participate in many different PAS Comeptiions and Contests, including solo, ensemble, and composition.
PAS Chapters
PAS has a very active network of chapters in the United States and around the world. These chapters provide service to percussionists, educators, and enthusiasts in their regions by fostering growth in the percussive arts through clinic sponsorship, workshops, concerts, festivals, newsletters, and other activities. If you join PAS at any membership level, you will automatically be placed in your local chapter.
Become a Student Delegate
PAS Student Delegates are highly motivated university or high school students seeking to become more involved in the percussion community, while gaining valuable leadership experience. Delegates are the liaisons between student percussionists and the leadership of PAS in their chapter, playing a vital role in our efforts to better serve percussion students. The delegates receive various materials from PAS to share with their peers, campuses and chapters to communicate initiatives and recruit students to join PAS.

PAS hosts the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) annually, featuring the top names in drumming and percussion. Featuring over 120 concerts, clinics, master classes, labs, workshops, panels and presentations given by the finest artists from all over the world, PASIC showcases all areas of percussion — drum set, marching, keyboard, symphonic, world, recreational, education, music technology, new music, and health & wellness. The convention’s International Drum and Percussion Expo is held annually with more than 120 exhibitors showcasing the latest in percussion instruments, gear, publications and services.The nationally recognized PASIC Marching Percussion Festival also takes place during the convention. This indoor festival includes competitions for individuals, small ensembles, a marching ensemble interactive clinic, and a DrumLine Battle.
